If you like the art of photography this is a great way to get money. All you need to do is to have a kind-of professional device and than it's all up to you.
Either if you make a blog or website with your self-made photos or you just subscribe them to shutterstock.com, photos are a great way to get a fluent stream of money.
Maybe you know it or not, but when someone use photos for commercials or websites it requires to have full author rights for that photos or they enter in conflict with the law. So, people are constantly using shutterstock.com to buy right for some photos they need or they like. Also, thanks to the option of search for images found on any major search engine people use the internet to find pictures online. So, if they found your and that get them to your website/blog, there you have it... specific traffic. And as i said before, traffic always means money.
Also, let's not forget about photo editing, which is a major wave in the latest years. If you have some photoshop skill and can make awesome pictures, no matter its content, than you should think about making some profit out of it. Maybe by teaching other how to make effect on photoshop or just simply let them enjoy your art.
If you have success with your photos you can later make a book with your photos and sell it on amazon or eBay. It quite does not matter the method.
